The Juba Local Football Association (JLFA) first division league games return with Atlabara FC battling Al Rabit FC in the early kickoff on Friday.
Al Rabita FC who sits 5th on the table are yet to pick up maximum points in the league under Abdurrahman Chol who took charge last month have drawn two and losing one.
Meanwhile Atlabara FC who started the season on a losing note have so far picked up six points in their last two games under coach Nicola Peter since his return from international duty with the national team.
Atlabara FC will be without two of their key player in Midfielder Mandela Malish who is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards, while Mandela Nelson misses through an ankle injury he sustained in the last game.
The two have been vital for the club in the last two games with Mandela Nelson scoring the only goal in the game against Al Nasir FC.
A win for the Bara boys will see them move temporally to 5th place ahead of big spending Munuki FC who will be in action in the last game of the day on Friday against Rainbow FC.
In the other weekend games, third placed Al Merriekh FC battles 10th placed Gudele FC in the early kick-off on Saturday while Al Nasir FC who are 9th on the log face table leaders and inform Malakia FC in the last game on the same day.
The First division games conclude on Sunday with second from bottom Viva Star FC kicking the day against Al Hilal FC and South Sudan Cup finalist for Juba Local Football Association Kator FC and Amarat United face each other in the final game of Sunday.
Kator FC lost to Amarat United FC on penalties two weeks ago in the final of the South Sudan Cup and coach Rezik Hakim will be aiming a sweet revenge against his tormentors this time round in the league.
