Weekend Preview: Munuki FC And Atlabara Face-Off.

Juba Local Football Association first division league returns with a heavyweight battle between Munuki FC and Atlabara FC on Friday.

This is the second meeting between the two clubs this season as Atlabara eliminated the Snakes in the South Sudan Cup last eight stage.

A win for Munuki will see them move to the second position depending on the outcome of Friday’s early kickoff game between El- Merreikh FC and Rainbow FC.

A win for El Merriekh will also see them leapfrog Kator FC who play Gudele FC in the last game of the weekend on Sunday to second place.

Meanwhile, a win for coach Nicolas’ Atlabara will see them move level on points with El Merriekh and third on goal difference.

Munuki FC will be without the services of their right back, Rehan Angier Malong who is currently on international duty with the national team.

Atlabara FC meanwhile will welcome back Mandela Malish who missed the club’s previous games after serving a game suspension for accumulated yellow cards.

For Mandela Nelson, it’s yet to be confirmed by the medical team if he will recover on time from a hamstring injury that kept him out of the previous game.

In the other games, Al Rabita FC plays table leaders, Malakia FC and Al Nasir FC faces bottom side, Al Hilal FC on Saturday as Viva Star FC battles Amarat United FC while Gudele FC takes on Kator FC on Sunday.
