MAKUETH: It was Hard to Say ‘NO’ to Kator FC

Mbarara City FC former striker, Makueth Wol Akeen joined Juba based Club Kator FC on Sunday, 12th June, 2022 after expiration of his one year contract with the Ankole Lions.

The 22-year-old attacker have put pen to paper on a two-years deal with the Christmas and Ramadan Cup Champions.

In an interview with tk SPORTS after signing for the Loberas, Wol said it was hard for him to turn down Kator when they came calling.

“Kator is a big Club and they were interested, so I couldn’t say no to them”, the 1.84 m striker said after joining the Club.

Makueth Wol who joined the Ankole Lions in 2016 is a goal threat from his records for the then Uganda premier league side and will prove to be a great signing for the Loberas, boosting their title chances for next season.

“(My message) to the fans, am here to help the team win trophies”, the South Sudan U-23 striker assures fans of his desire to take the team back to the glory days.

Makueth Wol scored 30 goals in 75 appearances for the Ankole Lions during his stay at the Club from 2016 – 2022.

Wol is the first signing completed by the green side of the Kator residential area, but according to sources to the club, more new faces are expected in the few coming days.

The transfer which opened on the 1st June, 20222, will close at exactly mid-night on 30th June, 2022.
