Omar moves to Jamus FC to end long dragging transfer talk

Former Amarat United FC attacking midfielder Omar Luate completes his move to newly promoted Second Division side Jamus FC on Thursday.

The 20-year-old have signed two years contract with the Buffalos for a fee amounting to $9,000 with add-ons.

Omar spend four years with Amarat United, scoring 43 goals in 184 appearances to help the Skyscrapers win two local South Sudan Cup titles and one at the national level.

Omar is a technically gifted footballer, his final passes and awareness are just amazing and that is why he is referred to as king of assist by some section of fans.

The former Dream FC (Yei) creative player, made 115 assists in his four seasons with Amarat, a feet that will be difficult to be emulate by many.

The South Sudan U-23 player will bring so much to already fierce Jamus frontline, he brings both goals and of course creating scoring opportunities for his team-mates around him.

“I choose Jamus because they had the best offer for me on the table”, Omar answered to a question asked by tk SPORTS after his move as to why he chose the Second Division side from the different options.

Omar is joined by his goalkeeper from Skyscrapers, Michael Marko and the latter signed a two year deal with Coach John Alier’s side.
